Semion Daynovsky was born in Tashkent Uzbekistan in 1969. He studied graphic design at the Bentkoff Art School in Tashkent from 1983 to 1987. Following his studies at Bentkoff, he studied illustration at the Art Institute in Tashkent. In 1990, he immigrated to Israel and continued his studies at the Fine Arts Department in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem from 1991 to 1995. Since leaving Bezalel, he works on independent art projects as well as joint projects with Mirit Barkan.
