Artists’ Statement
"We are artists not making art, but playing a game.
Our game field is tradition, which we fragmentize into endless universal symbols. These symbols became our materia prima. Thus, by playing a dice game with symbols we create a kaleidoscopic image, discovering in this way that casualness creates a new complex image, an image that can be understood as a new icon speaking in a universal language.
Our source is our cultural, national environment, and the result is a statement to which every reader can give a meaning, regardless of his or her cultural background.
We analyze the process of fragmentation and re-construction, casualness being its engine, thus seeing the generation of a cultural fractal which represents a given moment, but could go on developing forever."
